AUSTIN — The No. 1 linebacker in the Class of 2023 nation is heading to College Station.
Denton Ryan’s Anthony Hill on Saturday committed to Texas A&M over Texas with the release of a 90-second video. “I started playing football, like the Pee-Wee, around 4 or 5,” Hill says in a voiceover. “I would like to thank my mom, my dad, my Nana and my grandma and all the coaches that been recruiting me throughout these last four years. The video cuts to clips of Kyle Field just as Hill’s voice trails off, teasing thousands of Longhorns fans who thought he was about to utter “Texas.” “I just wanna tell the Aggie fans Gig ‘em,” Hill concluded as the video cut to the five-star recruit in his future Texas A&M uniform.
