The Houston Texans have released their injury report from Thursday'spractice ahead of Sunday's Week 5 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons
Coming off of a big win over the Steelers and J.J. Watt day, the Houston Texans will play the Atlanta Falcons for only the sixth time ever.
Getting all-pro left tackle Laremy Tunsil back after three games, as well as getting Tytus Howard back at practice is huge for this Texans team, especially since the offense led by rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud is looking to continue its productive play. Stroud has been the breakout star of this Texans offense through the start of the season, and is coming off of a 306-yard, two-touchdown performance last week against the Steelers. Stroud now ranks fourth in NFL with 1,212 passing yards this season which is the second-most ever by a player in his first four career games.
On the other hand, Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder has struggled at times but is 4-0 as a starter at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ridder completed 19 of 31 attempts for 191 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the 23-7 loss. Running back Dameon Pierce was a full participant in today's practice after having a season-high 108 scrimmage yards last week and his seventh-career game with 100-plus yards.Copyright ABG-SI LLC.
