Authorities believe Atascocita restaurant fire was intentional
No one was injured in the fire, however, the damage caused by the blaze prompted 16 other businesses in the strip mall to be ordered closed, said Capt. James Singleton. The fire caused significant damage to the structure and fire protection systems, Singleton said. The businesses can reopen after the owner of the strip mall addresses the damage, Singleton said.
No one has been arrested in connection to the fire, and no suspects have been identified. He said the fire marshal's office had interviewed the building and restaurant owners and were pursuing active leads.
