TSLA has issued a recall for up to 15,869 of its Model S and Model X electric vehicles from model years 2021 to 2023 due to a seat belt problem, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s web site. It’s possible that a seat belt may come loose during a crash, the announcement said. Tesla will check front-row seat belt connections and replace the seat belt assemblies if necessary, for free.
