Dubbed as “Juniper”, the new Tesla Model Y boasts greater efficiency, refreshed design with full width lightbars and new features that were introduced on the upgradedFor the first batch of buyers, Tesla is also offering a Launch Series which adds on several extras including a special badge.

According to Tesla’s website, buyers of the Model Y Launch Series will get exclusive launch series badging on the rear liftgate, puddle light, doorsill plate, charging console wordmark and vegan suede for Black Interior. Meanwhile, Model Y AWD versions will come with Acceleration Boost.The new Tesla Model Y is essentially a major facelift from the current Model Y. The base RWD model boasts an WLTP-rated range of 466km on a single charge and it can get from 0-100km/h in 5.

When it comes to charging, the RWD version supports DC charging up to 175kW while the LR AWD version supports up to 250kW.
