Tesla doesn’t believe in traditional model year updates, but that hasn’t stopped the company from announcing a handful of changes to the Model S andStarting with the most colorful, the EVs can be ordered with new Ultra Red paint. It’s the only red option and it costs $3,000 on both vehicles.
Staying outside, there’s a new glass roof that reportedly lets in five times more light despite offering the same level of UV protection. The purported benefits don’t end there as Tesla claimed the roof is lighter and “improves handling” as it helps to lower the center of gravity.– Glass roof now weighs less & lets in 5x more light with same level of UV protection.
– Plaid S & X come with improved brake pads with higher thermal capacity=better overall braking performance
