Tesla Destination Charging at Sunway Putra Mall KL is the first such deployment in Malaysia. Six charging bays have been prepared for Tesla owners over there.
Based on other Tesla Destination Charging locations throughout the world, Tesla owners should be able to utilise the Destination Charger in Sunway Putra Mall for free but of course, they still have to pay for the parking fee. Meanwhile, they can monitor the charging progress remotely through the Tesla mobile app.
Based on our quick visit, it seemed that the construction of the Tesla Destination Charging spot at Sunway Putra Mall is almost done, if not already completed altogether. So, expect the charging site to be operational very soon and we will keep you posted once that happens.
