Teresa Kok defends palm oil after Daim Zainuddin criticism

PALM oil, as the most cost-effective oil, will continue to play a pivotal role, said Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok. “It is hard to imagine a scenario where it can be replaced by other oils, including coconut for its pricing, functionality and versatility,” she said in response to Daim Zainuddin’s criticism of the oil yesterday.
