PETALING JAYA: Terengganu are beginning to find their groove in the Super League after they notched their second straight win in the league by beating Petaling Jaya City 2-1 at the Petaling Jaya Stadium on Saturday (April 27).
PJ City got their groove earlier in the 35th minute when Safee Sali threaded a beautiful pass to P. Rajes, who placed his shot under the legs of Terengganu’s goalkeeper Suffian Abdul Rahman to give the home team the lead.
Their persistence paid off when a cross from Adib Aizuddin was turned in by PJ City’s centreback B. Tinagaran to give Terengganu the equaliser and also an own goal.
