Tents at hospital for Covid-19 screening, not bed shortage, says Sabah health chief

TENTS have been set up at Kota Kinabalu’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital to screen people for Covid-19 and not because of a shortage of beds at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit , said Sabah Health Director Dr Christina Rundi. She said preliminary screening and examination on patients are conducted by medical officers at the tents to prevent the spread of the virus to other patients or health workers at the hospital.
