AFP melaporkan, Prabowo Subianto mempunyai masa sehingga esok untuk memfailkan aduan itu selepas Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Khamis lalu, mengumumkan Jokowi memenangi pilihan raya dengan meraih lebih 85 juta daripada 154 undi, mengatasi Prabowo dengan kelebihan 10 peratus.Dalam rusuhan malam kelmarin, perusuh memecahkan konkrit pejalan kaki, merosakkan papan tanda jalan raya dan membakar gerai serta melempar batu serta mercun ke arah polis.

Sekurang-kurangnya enam orang, termasuk seorang pelajar berusia 17 tahun terbunuh manakala ratusan lagi cedera dalam rusuhan antara penyokong Prabowo sejak kelmarin. Menurut pihak berkuasa, mangsa terbunuh akibat tembakan atau pukulan objek tumpul namun polis menafikan melepaskan tembakan ke arah perusuh.

Hampir 60,000 anggota keselamatan, sebahagian besarnya tentera dikerah ke Jakarta, hampir sekali ganda berbanding dua hari lalu selepas Jokowi menegaskan kerajaan tidak lagi akan bertolak ansur terhadap rusuhan.“Kita sudah menahan lebih 300 suspek dan mereka sedang disoal siasat,” kata Jurucakap polis, Muhamad Iqbal.
