Some protesters shouted “Murderers! Murderers!” and some carried placards denouncing Valencia’s regional president as well as Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. Police and protesters faced off on Saturday in a tense atmosphere, with some clashes breaking out, an AFP journalist witnessed.
