KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested 10 suspected GROs (guest relations officers) during a raid at a nightclub here early Sunday (May 26).

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Fahmi Visuvanathan Abdullah said seven people were also arrested after they tested positive for ketamine in the 1.15am raid.

"The proprietor also failed to present a valid licence for the entertainment outlet," ACP Mohd Fahmi said in a statement, adding that the person was remanded.ACP Mohd Fahmi said that the police will remain vigilant to ensure activities such as prostitution and drug abuse are curbed. He added that members of the public with knowledge of such activities are encouraged to inform the authorities.
