Stella Chronopoulou’s first two albums sagely predicted the intense disregard for genre that overtook pop music late last decade. Her self-titled 2015 debut and 2017 sophomore albumoccupied intriguing, idiosyncratic realms that combined the seemingly incompatible strands of disco basslines, equally dream-pop and arena-ready guitar lines and Stella Chronopoulou’s soulful, tender warble.
