We all have our 'icks,' and we're probably guilty of several, too...
I'll throw myself under the bus here: My partner and I actually cohabitate really nicely, and I've honestly never enjoyed living with someone as much as I enjoy living with him., we both have our little annoyances when it comes to household habits. Yes, I'm guilty of leaving cabinets, drawers, and food packaging open from time to time...but he's also guilty of not using enough dish soap to properly degrease our pots and pans after cooking. And that's called balance, folks.
Maybe your roommate loads the dishwasher in a way that absolutely no one understands. In order to add your own dirty dishes, you have to re-organize everything. Like, it would probably be easier if they just left their dirty dishes on the counter at this point.Or perhaps you leave for the office before your partner does. No matter how many times you remind them to turn off the lights before locking up, they rarely do.
