The Vice President should be mindful of her restrictions as a lawyer under the sub judice rule, meaning she must refrain from making prejudicial comments outside of court about a pending case. She must also respect the constitutional rights of all persons accused of a crime to a fair trial and to be deemed innocent until proven otherwise.
