Tefu: Chiefs Fans Are Tired of Waiting
The last time Kaizer Chiefs won silverware was in the 2014/15 season when they lifted the double with the MTN8 and the Premiership title. On Saturday Amakhosi crashed out of the Carling Knockout, losing 1-0 at home to AmaZulu FC as frustration is growing on their failure to win a trophy in eight years.
In a one-on-one interview with Soccer Laduma, the Limpopo born former defender stated that he feels this season Chiefs have assembled a squad which is capable of winning a trophy. "I was wishing it could have been the MTN8 and Carling Knockout but it was not to be. I hope they amass enough courage to realise that supporters are now tired of waiting for that trophy that they have wanted so much.
