PADANG TERAP: A teenage boy died while four others were injured after being electrocuted in a rice field in Kampung Tanjung Putus, here, on Wednesday .

Padang Terap Management Division Head, Asst Supt Yukhrul Mohd Yusof, said the incident is believed to have happened at 6.30pm when the victim and his four friends went to the area to get an artificial fishing bait that was stuck on an electric cable. "The four friends of the victim regained consciousness shortly after, but the victim was unconscious.
