Warning! Spoilers ahead for Teen Wolf: The Movie Teen Wolf: The Movie features a huge character death, but it wasn't originally going to be part of the script. The film, which premiered on Paramount+, featured the return of many popular characters from the MTV series Teen Wolf, including Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, and Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale. Derek was one of the series' main characters, appearing in 63 episodes between 2011 and 2017.

You second-guess yourself all the time. You say, "Are we really doing this? Maybe we should plan something that'll bring him back." But there's also part of you that wants to commit. [But] it's Teen Wolf. People can always come back.Derek Could Come Back If Teen Wolf Continues Given the many supernatural forces that haunt Beacon Hills in Teen Wolf, it would be entirely possible for Derek to come back to life at some point down the road in a future entry from the franchise.
