‘Teen Mom OG’ star Catelynn Lowell shut down ‘disgusting’ rumors that her husband, Tyler Baltierra, gave her an ultimatum about putting daughter Carly up for adoption

Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell is silencing speculation about the reason she and husband Tyler Baltierra chose to place their firstborn daughter, Carly, up for adoption.

Catelynn further denied that she would “give my baby away for a man,” adding that Tyler did not “force” her to make the decision. In her Thursday message, Catelynn reflected on the “strength,” “power” and “sorrow” she faced in making the decision. “He’s not implying that if I didn’t place Carly, he’d break up with me,” she said. “What he’s implying is that teen parents typically do not stay together. … Teen parents go through stress and all the things to raise a baby. I agree with him. If we had kept Carly, we probably still wouldn’t be together and we still wouldn’t have had all these other children.”
