The 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday and charged with attempted homicide after police said he shot a 15-year-old in Allison Hill over a firearm they had been stealing from each other.
Tyjawan Hill, 17, is being sought on attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges after a May 25, 2024 shooting that left another teen in critical condition, according to Harrisburg police.The violence between the two teenagers was the culmination of a feud over a stolen gun, court documents said.
Hill tried to force his way into the home between 9:30 and 10 p.m. but was stopped by the victim’s mother and other people inside the home before leaving the area. While trying to enter, Hill told the victim’s mother’s boyfriend, “If you don’t let me in I am going to shoot you,” police said. Multiple witnesses told police they saw a male matching Hill’s description wearing all black and running away from the area after shots were fired.
