Former PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and his team distributed statutory declarations at the gathering at Sheraton Hotel on Sunday.
“At the Friday’s PH presidential meeting, these people who are suddenly now throwing their support for Mahathir were the ones demanding his resignation. The former PKR leader told FMT that the Sheraton meet on Sunday was to enable all those who supported Mahathir to sign the statutory declaration.“What choice did we have because till Saturday there were serious efforts by others to stop Mahathir from continuing as prime minister,” he added.
He said even the BN leaders who were at Sheraton were there to show support for Mahathir and not to discuss a new Cabinet line-up.
