KLUANG: A teacher who was attacked by three parang-wielding masked men on Wednesday (Feb 12) is now in a stable condition, but remains unconscious, say the police.

Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Abduh Ismail said the teacher S. Rajes, 37, had not regained consciousness, and as such would not be able to shed any light on the motive of the attack.

"The victim is unconscious, and his wife, who was away during the incident, also does not know why her husband was attacked," he said when asked for updates on the case."We have collected fingerprints at the location of the incident and have gathered statements from witnesses in the area.When asked on the possibility of the suspects being students, he said there was no evidence pointing in that direction.
