have eagerly been awaiting the premiere of the concert film version of her"Eras Tour," but in a surprise announcement on social media, Swift announced the waiting would end early for some.
Swift confirmed tickets to the new showings, including the ones for Thursday, would be available at 10 a.m. Thursday. The concert was likely filmed at L.A.'s SoFi Stadium in August. During the first three of Swift's six nights at the stadium, there were extra cameras around to catch the performance, launching initial speculation that a concert film was coming. AMC's website lists the runtime of the film as 2 hours and 45 minutes, about half an hour less than the 3 hours and 15 minutes that Swift's sets have taken in stadiums for the past six months. It's likely the difference is due to cutting costume changes and set adjustments between songs.
