Tasmania Premier Jeremy Rockliff says he wants to see a “nation that moves forward in partnership with First Nations’ people' as every Tasmanian will “have an equal say” in the ballot box ahead of the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum. “My conviction is very clear on support for the Yes vote but I also respect Tasmanians that have a differing view,” Mr Rockliff said at a media conference on Thursday. 'We need a respectful discussion, respectful dialogue where we can all learn together and my only urging of Tasmanians is we do take the time to appreciate the facts of why we are having a referendum.”
