Twenty-two patients with COVID are in hospital in Tasmania, eight of them specifically for COVID symptoms, as the state records 1,583 new cases of the virus.
Kathrine Morgan-Wicks said she was asymptomatic, but found out she had the virus when taking a PCR test, after a household member was confirmed as a positive case.
