Tanker driver remanded over Klang pond contamination

A TANKER driver has been remanded for two days to facilitate investigations into the dumping of industrial waste in a flood-retention pond in Taman Eng Ann, Klang, on Thursday.

Magistrate Roslizi Sulaiman issued the order, which is effective today, after allowing an application by police, who are investigating the case under Section 277 of the Penal Code.
