Kota Kinabalu: Lapan rakyat Vietnam didenda berjumlah RM1.5 juta kerana menangkap ikan secara haram di perairan Malaysia.
Mereka ialah juragan Duong Van Phong, 34, anak kapal Phan Van Thuan, 42, Nguyen Guang Linh Vu, 51, Chai Hoai Thanh, 26, Nguyen Van Trinh, 36, Ha Trong Luan, 37, Ngo Van Doan, 41, dan Nguyen Vanh Thuan, 35.Kesemua mereka mengaku bersalah secara berasingan di hadapan hakim Mahkamah Sesyen Elsie Primus, selepas pertuduhan yang dikenakan ke atas mereka dibacakan jurubahasa Vietnam.
