Pertarungan merebut tiket ke separuh akhir menyaksikan pasangan No.9 dunia itu berjaya mengatasi Soon Huat-Shevon dalam kemenangan straight set 21-18, 21-11. “Masih banyak yang perlu kami perbaiki. Namun kami lihat kami banyak melakukan perubahan. Kami masih lagi pemain sudah tentu kelemahan itu pasti ada untuk diperbaiki,” kata Tang Jie.
Menurutnya, salah faham itu menjadikan komunikasi lebih kritikal sekali gus mereka kehilangan mata demi mata kepada Tang Jie-Ee Wei.
