PETALING JAYA: MCA hari ini membidas Pakatan Harapan kerana “terlalu taksub” menukar nama program atau dasar yang dibuat kerajaan lepas, selepas Program Permata Negara ditukar nama kepada “Genius”.
Presiden Wee Ka Siong berkata keputusan PH menukar nama program pembangunan kanak-kanak yang dicetuskan oleh isteri bekas perdana menteri, Rosmah Mansor itu dilihat tidak dibuat secara teliti. Beliau menjelaskan penjenamaan semula ada implikasi kewangan, termasuk pakaian pelajar dan papan tanda.Semalam, Berita Harian memetik Menteri Pendidikan Maszlee Malik sebagai berkata jemaah menteri membuat keputusan menjenamakan semula program itu untuk menjadikannya lebih berdaya saing dan bersemangat tinggi.
Sejak mengambil alih Putrajaya pada 9 Mei, beberapa inisiatif yang dilaksanakan Barisan Nasional dijenamakan semula. Antaranya Bantuan Sara Hidup , dahulunya Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia , manakala Pusat Transformasi Luar Bandar kini dikenali sebagai Pusat Komuniti Desa .
