Las autoridades taiwanesas investigan a cuatro empresas con sede en el país bajo sospecha de que ayudan a la tecnológica china Huawei a construir instalaciones para la fabricación de semiconductores.
La ministra de Asuntos Económicos, Wang Mei-hua, dijo el viernes que la investigación determinará si las empresas han violado las normas que prohíben las ventas de tecnología y equipos confidenciales a China. El ministerio de Asuntos Económicos convocó a proveedores de semiconductores y servicios fabriles para interrogarlos después que un informe de la agencia Bloomberg sostuvo que trabajan con Huawei para construir una red de fábricas de chips.
