The Tánaiste has said that he would like to see the Government run to its full term in March 2025.
Micheál Martin was speaking ahead of his party's 81st Ard Fheis which gets under way in Dublin tomorrow.
The two other coalition leaders, Green Party leader Eamon Ryan and Fine Gael leader Leo Varadkar, have also indicated that they want to see the Government run its full term. Mr Martin said that the party was now preparing for the local and European elections. At present Fianna Fáil is the largest party in local government, with 276 councillors.
