PETALING JAYA: A group of about 200 people showed up uninvited at a gathering of Johor Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia members in Ulu Tiram, Johor Friday (Jan 31) night, forcing Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman to flee by climbing over a fence.
The Youth and Sports Minister said he was harassed by"gangsters" who insisted he apologise to Tengku Mahkota Johor if he wanted to leave the event."They yelled and screamed rude remarks," he said, adding that his parents were also there at the time.
The Bersatu youth wing chief said he was upset by the commotion at the event that was meant to be a peaceful meeting with Johor Bersatu, Armada and Srikandi members.
