“It’s been my norm to be out there for seven months, so it was amazing how this just felt kind of unreal coming in ... I thought, man, I’ve been doing this for 50 years, and I’ve only been doing this for seven months, but it felt more normal,” she said.

“Mother nature — it’s an honour, it’s a pleasure, it’s a privilege ... because you’re just experiencing mother nature in her runway-ready, raw, take-me-as-I-am natural beauty ... some days she’s better than others and she certainly puts you through your paces.” “No matter how prepared you think you are, you get out there and there are so many scenarios that you just cannot mock or mimic on shore,” the 50-year-old said.
