Sydney school teacher Myron Love has been identified as one of the 72 passengers and crew onboard the Yeti Airlines flight that crashed on Sunday in Nepal
, leaving at least 68 dead and four more unaccounted for.
The Sydney local, who is believed to have lived in the city’s east, was named on the passenger manifest of the flight that crashed while descending into Pokhara from Kathmandu.Facebook His condition is not known, but the Department of Foreign Affairs said its embassy was “urgently seeking to confirm the welfare of the Australian” onboard the flight. “Owing to our privacy obligations we are unable to provide further comment,” a spokesperson said.
Love’s family have told reporters they won’t comment until receiving confirmation from the embassy about his condition.“Myron was one of the loves of my life,” he said. “A truly kind, fun energetic man.
