Kota Kinabalu: Sweden’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr Joachim Bergstrom, officially declared open the first Swedish Honorary Consulate at the premises of BHIC Bofors Asia Sdn Bhd, Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP), near here, Tuesday.

BHIC Bofors Asia Sdn Bhd’s CEO Azhar bin Abdullah and other dignitaries, including Royal Malaysian Navy officers, witnessed the event. Dr Bergstrom and Trade Commissioner of Business Sweden spoke highly of Malaysia and Sabah’s potential, in particular, for investment by Swedish companies from green energy to trade development.
