Suzuki GSX-8S dilancar untuk pasaran Malaysia – import terus dari Jepun, 776 cc, harga RM50,800
kini sudah dilancarkan untuk pasaran Malaysia, dengan harga RM tidak termasuk insurans. Model ini akan bersaing dalam pasaran antaranya dengan Kawasaki Z650, Yamaha MT-07 dan Aprilia Tuono 660.
Pada bahagian kokpit, informasi penting dipaparkan oleh panel instrumen TFT-LCD lima inci berwarna penuh, manakala bentuk badannya pula mengikuti model yang lebih besar iaitu GSX-S1000. Model baru ini menyediakan tiga mod tunggangan, dengan Mode A yang paling agresif, diikuti Mode B, dan Mode C lebih seperti mod hujan., motosikal ini turut datang dengan kawalan cengkaman tiga tahap, bantuan rpm rendah untuk memudahkan pergerakan awal sertasecara standard.
