A dashcam video has been circulating on social media recently, showing a minor accident that took place at a traffic light stop near Plaza 33 in Petaling
Originally posted on YouTube, the video has since been reshared on various social media platforms, including this TikTok post that garnered over 548,000 views and more than 7,600 likes in just over 1 day.
Given how there were no reverse lights popping up on the SUV’s tail light when the accident happened, it seems that the driver may have released the vehicle’s brake pedal, causing it to move backwards by itself. After hitting the front end of the other vehicle, the Proton X70 driver then went out to check if there were any damages to her SUV’s rear end as a result of the accident.
She then went to speak and reprimand the other driver before going back inside her SUV and leaving the scene as the traffic light went green.
