PETALING JAYA: Several members of Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings's top management, including CEO Nasiruddin Ali and his wife have been detained by police, according to reports.
MANILA: Authorities arrested a former policeman and his driver-bodyguard, who are tagged in the disappearance of beauty pageant contestant Catherine Camilon .
Ex-police major Allan de Castro and Jeffrey Magpantay were nabbed in Barangay Caloocan, Balayan in Batangas province last Saturday , according to Police Regional Office 4A spokesperson Lt Col Chitadel Gaoiran on Thursday.Batangas City Regional Trial Court Branch 3 issued on Sept 4 a warrant of arrest against de Castro and Magpantay for kidnapping and serious illegal detention. The court did not recommend bail for the two.
The 26-year-old Camilon, a Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate, was reported missing by her mother and sister days after travelling from Tuy town to Batangas City on Oct 12. Reports indicated that the teacher-model, who was crowned as Miss Batangas, was last seen inside a shopping mall in Batangas province’s Lemery municipality at around 7pm Oct 12.
