: Police in Johor have confirmed that the driver who crashed into a motorcycle which was ridden by kayak athlete Siti Nurul Masyitah Elias had alcohol levels that were above the legal limit.
As a result Nurul Masyitah sustained a fractured right shoulder, hip injuries, and multiple lacerations on her legs. Raub added investigations are being conducted under Section 44 of the Road Transport Act 1987, for driving under the influence of alcohol and causing injury.
