Menteri hal ehwal ekonomi berkata Najib Razak sepatutnya berdebat di Parlimen, bukan bermain Facebook.
KUALA LUMPUR: Menteri Hal Ehwal Ekonomi, Mohamed Azmin Ali membidas Najib Razak berkenaan isu Felda, mengatakan bekas perdana menteri itu sepatutnya berdebat di Dewan Rakyat dan bukan bermain Facebook.“Dia ahli Parlimen, kena duduk Parlimen. Dia bukan ahli Facebook, dia bukan ahli Twitter. Suruh dia datang Parlimen petang ini, saya akan respon kepada Najib,” katanya pada sidang media di Parlimen.
Azmin berkata demikian selepas Najib mendesak kerajaan mendedahkan kandungan perjanjian antara Felda dan syarikat Indonesia, Eagle High Plantations TBK . Najib menjelaskan perjanjian itu mengandungi “put option” yang membolehkan Felda menjual balik sahamnya kepada EHP pada harga belian asal dengan caj faedah tahunan 6% ditanggung EHP.Terdahulu, pembentangan kertas putih “ke arah kelestarian” Felda hari ini mendedahkan kepincangan pengurusan pentadbiran lama, termasuk pembabitan Najib dalam urusan pelaburan yang merugikan entiti itu.
Azmin berkata, hasil audit forensik menunjukkan kerugian atau penjejasan nilai aset berjumlah RM2.2 bilion bagi 8 transaksi urus niaga yang disiasat, iaitu 50% daripada nilai pelaburan asal. Kedudukan kewangan Felda, kata Azmin, bertambah tenat akibat pembaziran berterusan dengan pembelian aset pada kadar yang lebih tinggi daripada harga pasaran.
