“As a leader in the energy industry, we are dedicated to incorporating innovations that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our operations,” stated AboitizPower President and CEO Manny Rubio. This EV fleet transformation program reinforces the demand for cleaner energy sources and aligns seamlessly with AboitizPower’s growth strategy of adding 3,700 megawatts of renewable energy, such as solar, wind, and geothermal, to its generation portfolio over the next decade. This aligns with the Philippines’ objective of reducing its heavy reliance on imported fossil fuels for transportation and electricity generation by harnessing cleaner and indigenous energy sources.
