TAWAU: Large-scale supermarkets in Sabah are urged to assist micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by providing space for them to promote their products.
State Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Assistant Minister Datuk Andi Muhammad Suryady Bandy, said MSME products have the potential to generate sales of up to RM200,000 per month.“We hope more supermarkets will be like Sthamin Supermarket, which provides ample space in six locations across Kunak, Lahad Datu and Tawau for over 50 MSME entrepreneurs to display and sell their products, making it easier for customers to buy local products,” he said.
