A rapper-actor who appeared in the 2018 film “SuperFly'' was sentenced on Monday to 50 years to life in state prison for sex-related charges involving three teens and four young women in attacks dating back to 2013.
In her opening statement in March, Deputy District Attorney Yasmin Fardghassemi told the jury that the case involved women who didn't know each other, and that the"single thing that unites all of these women is the defendant Kaalan Walker.''
"They're going to lie to you because they know that they fell for his B.S.,'' the defense lawyer told jurors, saying the alleged victims were out for “revenge.''
