Today will be dry with abundant sunshine; highs this afternoon will again surge into the low and mid 80s. Tonight will feature passing clouds with lows near 60°.
A cold front will dive south overnight, and will set the stage for rain and storms at time this weekend. Some of those storms could make it into Northwest Alabama overnight, where the SPC has a “marginal risk” for severe storms.
For Sunday, expect more rain and storms, but these looks to arrive later in the day. With daytime heating, some of these storms could be locally severe as well, and again, the SPC has area included in a sever weather risk.
