Sunny Monday expected to be followed by a rainy week

The coming week is expected to be rainy every day except Monday.

There is a 20 percent chance of showers Tuesday afternoon, jumping to a 30 percent chance at night. Wednesday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Thursday is expected to be a little warmer with a high temperature in the mid-80s and a 30 percent chance of rain. The KTRK-TV 13 Weather Team says,"Those lower-end rain chances will stick around through the weekend, with temperatures warming back into the 80s by Thursday." Friday’s forecast is identical to Thursday, the weather service said, with the only difference being no expected overnight rain and cooler nighttime temperatures.
