Mamelodi Sundowns legend Lovers Mohlala has warned against underestimating Kaizer Chiefs with the two teams set to renew their rivalry in a semi-final of the MTN8 on Saturday.
Mohlala went on to highlight what he believes is the major difference between Sundowns and the rest of the teams in the league.
"There is a lot of difference between Sundowns and other teams, at Sundowns there is a lot of investment, for any team to match Mamelodi Sundowns they shouldn't go after profit they should be investors. This league has changed, it's becoming like the Spanish league – one way traffic, just always Sundowns, Sundowns, Sundowns and for me even when I watch a game I don't watch the game, I always know that Sundowns will be victorious. But sometimes I get happy when Sundowns win by 1-0 and not 5-0 and so, I always say we still need a team to challenge Sundowns."
Before their MTN8 tie, Sundowns take on Polokwane City away in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday at 17:00 while Chiefs take on Stellenbosch away on the same day at 19:00.Get the best in Soccer, News and Lifestyle content with SNL24 PLUS For 14 free days, you can have access to the best from Soccer Laduma, KickOff, Daily Sun, TrueLove and Drum.
