Sunak, Truss berentap menangi hati ahli Konservatif

Siapalah yang bakal dipilih jadi PM baharu Britain nanti

LONDON: Dua calon terakhir dari Konservatif kini tampil menyuarakan pandangan masing-masing kepada ahli parti yang akan menentukan pengganti Boris Johnson dalam beberapa minggu lagi.

Sunak dalam laporan Daily Telegraph menyatakan beliau akan membawa `beberapa pembaharuan yang radikal sepertimana dilaksanakan oleh bekas Perdana Menteri, Margaret Thatcher pada 1980-an’ sekiranya dipilih. Kedua-dua pemimpin itu muncul sebagai calon terakhir selepas Truss berjaya menyingkirkan Menteri Perdagangan, Penny Mordaunt dengan menang tipis dalam undian tersebut.Truss yang juga Menteri Luar memperolehi 113 undi berbanding Mordaunt yang mendapat 105 undi.
