Sunak mahu potong cukai bagi pesara
LONDON: Perdana Menteri Britain, Rishi Sunak mencadangkan pemotongan cukai bagi berjuta-juta pesara menerusi siri kempen yang mahu memenangi hati pengundi warga emas menjelang Pilihan Raya, Julai depan.
“Tindakan berani ini menunjukkan kami berpihak kepada pesara. Sedangkan, Parti Buruh mengheret semua penerima pencen penuh ke dalam cukai pendapatan buat kali pertama dalam sejarah,” katanya lapor Reuters. Parti Konservatif menegaskan komitmennya terhadap dasar ‘kunci tiga lapis’ yang mahu memastikan pencen meningkat mengikut tahap pendapatan, inflasi atau 2.5 peratus yang mana-mana lebih tinggi.
