: Sultan Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah berkenan menerima zakat perniagaan berjumlah RM10.8 juta daripada empat syarikat korporat dalam program serahan zakat sempena Majlis Berbuka Puasa Sultan Selangor Bersama Rakyat di sini hari ini.
Pada majlis sama, Sultan Selangor turut berkenan menyampaikan sumbangan hari raya kepada 430 penerima dari sekitar daerah Petaling melibatkan 118 orang asnaf fakir, 237 orang asnaf miskin dan 75 orang asnaf mualaf.Pada majlis sama, Sultan Sharafuddin juga berkenan menandatangani plak Jubli Mutiara sempena sambutan ulang tahun ke-30 penubuhan Lembaga Zakat Selangor .
Agihan zakat yang dilaksanakan sepanjang 30 tahun itu juga meningkat kepada RM1.05 billion pada 2022 berbanding RM16.3 juta ketika penubuhan LZS 30 tahun lalu.
